Costco has the same machine but with 16GB for $999. I'd choose Costco any day

But with a bilingual keyboard. I hate the left shift and the enter key with passion

Oh I totally agree with you. I bought this laptop from Costco. Given the price point and the fact it's from Costco I'm happily able to overcome the annoyance of their stupid bilingual keyboard.

Ahh I misread looking at the top coupon, there is one for the Lenovo Flex 14 (Ryzen 7) "Up to 3.5% CB"

Would be interesting without the useless gimmicky touch screen. I thought they died along with the 3D tv's 5 years ago.

I respect your decision, but for me, the lost productivity & increased level of frustration isn't worth keeping this unit, so I will reluctantly return this and got myself Asus VivoBook. Not as spec/cost-effective as Ryzen, but I love the onboard dual screen (screen pad).

Yeah, they should remove the gimmicky touch screen from phones too...

I never had one on a laptop until I bought a 2in1. I love browsing the web with my fingers/pen.

I recently returned my unilingual $800 lenovo from amazon to get a $999 from Costco just for the bilingual keyboard, I am asian and live and grew up in Toronto and can't live with an English keyboard only! And as a real RFDer, I prefer 2 languages for 1 price! When you guys work in french, how do you type without having the lettering on the keyboard everytime?

Thanks OP! This is a bit better than the Costco deal to me, with the US keyboard, rakuten deal, cheaper price. I jumped on it for my grade 8's new school laptop... plus her Ableton hub... Smiling Face With Open Mouth hopefully it lasts her a number of years.

Glad to hear you found the keyboard you like.
Still hard no for me, because I keep hitting the right 1/2 of the left shift key, or the left 1/2 of the enter key, which has been driving nuts. I'm glad I don't have to type any French for my work.

IMHO, there are other 'bilingual' keyboard layouts that are way better than Lenovo's.

This is Asus Flip book’s bilingual keyboard, which is much more friendly to me.
