At this price it better come with 1050ti at least. If not then it better have a 1440p display, which is not. Normally for 1000 you can get 7700hq type of cpu with video card if not 8750h i think? One of those new 6c12t cpu.

They are pretty much the same thing in terms of gaming performance.

I think it would have been hot deal if it was i7 8th gen.

Btw, what is the situation with Microsoft Store warranties? Like what if I wanted to put 2 years warranty on this?

I don't know about the MS warranties, but I'm almost 2 months into CSR hell trying to get the Dell warranty transferred over to me on the G3 I bought last year, and it appears I'm back to square one. Not sure if the same issues apply to Lenovos purchased through the MS store.
Koodo 8GB UL T&T @ $45 (ported in from Public Mobile)
ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom @ $299 / Certified Pre-Owned Huawei P20 @ $240 / Huawei P20 + Huawei Watch GT @ $240

I bought a laptop from MS on the "early" black friday deals, and i returned it even after the 30 days. (35 days to be exact) and they had no questions and easy return. Support was friendly when I asked about returning it after the return period.

Not quite the same issue... With dells at least, units being shipped to Canadian customers have their manufacturers' warranties registered to Microsoft in the US, and the process to get them transferred over (to prevent an extra hassle when/if warranty repair is required) isn't pretty. What you're describing is a straight up return to the MS store.

Bought one for my cousin. It has 16gb ram. I could see only 1 USB c port.

This laptop is quite a disappointing offering. The i5 + GTX 1050 combo is a disgrace in 2019.

It is a laptop. It is $1000. Since there is nothing out there like that at this price, I would deal with it if I were in the market for such a beast.
