Soldered RAM is a bit of a deal breaker on this one but Yogas are pretty nice in general, Hoping to find one similar with an Nvidia GPU and 16GB RAM for Black Friday. Lenovo prices tend to be very inflated and put on deep discount to look good.

I picked up a c740 which is the i5 version. Super nice screen compared to the Lenovo flex on amazon but slower. I guess it comes down to what is more important for the purpose. We use the flex for work and the c740 is for videos. Gotta say though that looking at a nice display for hours is sweet

I'm not sure that this is a good deal, especially with Black Friday coming up.

Here's what I got at the end of July/ beginning of August, from Lenovo. No special "sale" or anything, just used my company's EPP code but the discount wasn't phenomenal or anything.

I really recommend this laptop though. C940 is spectacular. I like it a lot more than my previous notebook, Dell XPS 13 (9360), even though the footprint is slightly bigger.

Like someone else in this thread said, the C940 *should* go on sale during Black Friday... I'd wait until then

Microsoft has this price on sale many times this year.
Comparing 12gb (8+4) ram, I prefer 16gb (8+8).
And this is not 4k display. only 1080p. With this price range, maybe consider Lenovo BF sale X1C with 4k display.
