FYI you can convert anything to PDF if you print it and choose "Microsoft Print to PDF" from the list of printers.

This tool apparently converts the other way too (i.e. PDF to DOC).

There are also 3rd party apps like cutePDF and Foxit printer that allows you to print to PDF.

OP, this is not from Microsoft.
It's from a developer named "Roxy".

Just because it's on the Microsoft store, doesn't mean it's a Microsoft product.

Subject to the privacy policy of Roxy (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-mC ... sp=sharing) Yes, the Microsoft store listing simply links to a Google doc...

As read in above, it uploads your docs through some some unnamed 3rd party API. At best, this is the same as online converters. I wouldn't use with (i.e. send) sensitive docs.

Worth noting that this is by a third party company named Roxy, it's not a Microsoft tool nor was it made by Microsoft, nor would Microsoft provide any support for it beyond basic help with obtaining it through the Microsoft store. Still, thanks to OP all the same, it's annoying having to find tools to work with PDF files.

Not sure what sort of editing you want to do, but the free edition of PDFsam works well for splitting/merging PDFs on a page-by-page basis.

Any need to worry about the permission given for access to your Internet connection and the use of your pictures library?

Misleading title. This is by Roxy as others have mentioned. Did people even read the reviews?

Sketchy as hell. You lose document privacy with this. This "Free" thing is an attempt to steal your info.

Down-voted.

DO NOT use it.
