I was going to buy the 1TB but it came in blue and I wanted black which the 2TB comes in. Plus, it's 50% off the 2TB so I went for the 2TB.

Speed is not anywhere close to nvme enclosures but extremely convenient and small. Works amazingly on consoles for extra storage. Not sure if you can shuck this it might be a custom design inside.

Pretty sure all T5 are mSATA. So technically yes, but kinda hard to use unless you have free slot for it.

Oh interesting never thought about what was in them, not sure you would want to shuck one of these considering it peaks at about 550mb/s for the price tag, just get a 2.5 SSD or a cheap nvme.

NVMe drives are nowhere near this cheap at 2TB.

too bad, it's mSATA. T7 should be M.2 NVMe?

I actually have a mSATA slot in my old laptop from 2013 but it would seem like a waste to put this in there considering I don't use it much now.
