Miele C1 vs Shark APEX

Hey RFD, Im looking to buy a new vacuum for around $300 and these two vacuums are in my price range.

I currently stuck between the Shark APEX and the Miele C1.
Shark: https://direct.sharkclean.com/16/produc ... 1579743519
Miele: https://www.costco.ca/miele-compact-c1- ... 03763.html

My home has an even split where we have hardwood on one floor and carpet on the second. Currently, I am using a cheap ($60) bissel from Canadian Tire. I don't have any pets or small children but I feel like the house gets dirtier way faster than it should, which is why I'm looking to upgrade.

A lot of review I have seen about the Miele are very good (top of the line suction, durability, build quality) but Im concerned about it performance on carpet without an agitator head.
The Shark APEX does have an agitator head but has a bad reputation of being less reliable in the long term.

If anyone has experience with either of these two vacuums, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience. Also open to other recommendations as well. Thank you!

The C1 complete is an amazing vacuum. But you're correct, it will not work well with carpet. Doesn't matter how good the suction is, you need a power head to effectively clean carpet.

I have a C1 that's been used weekly for 12years+
still running like new and never had a problem with it...

Tho i always had hard surface floor throughout the house so I don't know how well the basic head works for carpet. (It works fine for those short entry rug)
