[Mike's Computer Shop] LG 32GK850F-B monitor 144hz 1440p 32" - 388$

Been looking for a 1440p 144hz monitor for gaming. The price is pretty good for a monitor with those specs. The rating is pretty good for gaming too, on rtings : https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/32gk850g-b
The review is for the g sync version, but otherwise the same monitor
Monitors with better ratings all costs around 500-700$

It was $379.99 a week and a half ago. Additionally, Staples had this for $399.99 - $25 off coupon code almost a week ago. If returned as open box to Mikes, there is a restocking fee.

Since I missed the PC Canada deal for this monitor at $360 , this is the best deal so far.
Staples will not have stock until Dec 12th online and they do not carry this version in store.
For those with Nvidia cards , this was fully tested with a GTX 2080ti under the gsync compatible setting and zero issues.
There is also a 32GK850G version of this monitor with the gsync chip but it runs around $599 and the specs aren't as good as this one.
Shipping to ON was $8.99 and there is a $5 coupon on email sign up.
Thanks OP

Initially I was planning to buy this but bought the EX2780q instead at Best Buy for $399.99.

Reasons why I didn't buy this:

(1) Limited Warranty 1 Year Parts & Labor from LG
(2) MCS reserves the right to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee on any returned item that is opened and not DOA or to deny any return that has missing or damaged retail / product packaging.
(3) VA panel vs IPS panel @ $399.99
(4) Too big for me esp for gaming (preference)

I also bought the benQ on best buy but they refunded it stating they had no more stock, so I ended up with no screen after black Friday.

Ouch, I was afraid that was going to happen to me. Mine came with no shipping notice or order confirmation and it's spectacular.

Ouch man.. I guess I was lucky. I find that 32" is far too big for my needs especially for gaming.

I ordered the Dell, basically the same specs but curved and with some other features. I'm thinking 32" is too much monitor at my viewing distance (<1m), but is Dell's return policy is terrific so I'm not too bothered.

From what I've read, 27" is the sweet spot for 16:9 1440p monitors and I'm kicking myself for missing out on the BenQ. Supposedly it's going on sale again for $400 for Xmas/Boxing Day, so I'll keep an eye out.
