Milk Crates

Hi There,
Anyone know where I can buy milk CRATE big enough to hold 12" Vinyl albums?

No, vinyl records don't fit in milk crates.
At least, they don't in the plastic crates I have at home.

It's like 1cm too big to fit, so I think they are just messing with us :mad:

That's so old school. By now, isn't there a better way to store vinyl?

I have two crates I use to store car junk. They stack nicely. :)

Its been always 20 years, but I'm sure that's how my DJ buddy in high school did it.

You know that they changed the size of milk crates decades ago because people were ripping them off from behind variety stores to use for LPs, right? You might find some for sale in used record/specialty record shops.

That said, it might also have been because they made cartons smaller, but offered the album story to distract from that.

I'd help you out, but all of mine are full of records...

My Friend uses tomatoe boxes. I remember him once saying that they fit perfectly and the boxes are rugged.
