[Home Depot] Milwaukee bimetal dozer set $58.88

Been looking out for a nice set. This is usually over $100 I believe.

I got it for this price in Nov. 2019. Nice set and no issues for wood with the occasional nail. Much cheaper than buying sizes individually.

+1 on this. The only one missing so far was a 1-inch size for installing door hardware like a deadbolt. Can buy it separately and it fits great in the case, just wish it was included.

It was cheaper in the past, but there is no going back in time. Best price right now.

Best base kit imo, I bought this 3 years ago and as they wear out I just make a large order of the singles from whichever site has them cheapest. But if you're a contractor you will basically need a tool bag to carry all the additional oversized hole saws for plumbing/ pot lights/ hot air vents etc.

That one includes the 1-inch size, and despite being 13 pieces only, you still get 9 hole saws as in original OP kit (less pilot bits included by default)
Looks like the 13 pc set is ice hardened vs. the other 17 pc isn't, but both are bi-metal. Any idea what ice hardened means? Probably not worth it for the guy who doesn't make a living with his toolbox. The 17pc set has been that price since Nov 2019.

It's just a better heat treat. It thru hardens so the idea is that the metal will be hardened deeper which would make it tougher than your standard surface treatment.

Doesn't look like you can order the 13 piece right now.

Just so everyone is aware, the packaging on the 13 piece set which is supposedly ice hardened is exactly the same as the packaging on the 17 piece set. It does not say ice hardened anywhere on the packaging and I couldn't find ice hardening on the Milwaukee website either however it does mention ice hardening on some review websites and the home Depot website.

There's also a 16 pieces for the same price, description is about the same, what really is the difference? So is it worth it to get the 13 pcs ice hardened ones? I noticed bimetal model says limited lifetime warranty, ice hardened one doesn't.

Anyone know if this cuts tiles or could recommend a set that cut tiles?

I remember when I was an early apprentice. I was drilling 4 inch holes and broke the Arbour pilot bit. So boss gave me 2nd Arbour. And I broke that within seconds lol. He never let me drill holes for a while

Nice find though. I got mine for $47? Last black Friday. $60 still good price
