[Home Depot] Milwaukee Tool High Speed Wood Spade Bit Set (13-Piece) - $14.97

Mid december the price was reduced from 19.98 to 14.97. Stock has pretty much halved or more in all locations since the price reduction. Great price for a 13 piece high speed wood spade bit set. Lots of stock in certain stores.....and no stock in some.

We try these, but not stay sharp long.

When not sharp, it take long and make bad hole.

Better buy good ones in a few sizes instead.

We buy Irwin and Bosch.

I find Bosch and similar spade bits with a screw on the tip to work better than these flat ones. Can't go wrong with $1.15 per bit though. Upvoted.

I wouldn't of said anything if my thread was expired, but it hasn't been expired since then.

You only want the hammer action for drilling using masonry bits into stone/cement/brick.
Normal drill mode is fine for these. The largest size is only 1", any basic drill is fine for that in softwood.

Spade bits are fast and messy, not for nice clean holes.

I searched “Milwaukee Wood Spade Set” and “$14.97”. No clue. Anyway it should have been expired, was not available for at least 10 days.

I also just checked and I can order to my house with free shipping still so must be based on postal code.
