Mini USB Cable for Fight Stick

So I have a PS3 and I cannot for the life of me find this specific Mini USB Cable....long story short I need a spare one and when plugging any other mini usb cable I have, my fight stick won't detect but the one attached does... note it has the ability to bend...ebay,amazon, CC no luck!

Gotta show us the angle looking into the metal plug.. need to see its shape to see what kind of plug it is. What's the flight stick you're trying to use?

It's mini usb there is a specific end for fight sticks?

Might be proprietary cable that looks like mini usb. Hence more information we get the better to give you a possible solution.

That is a Mini USB. What is the other end of the cable look like? we need to know this as well?

It's a normal mini-USB. Look for mini-USB cables. It's an old standard but still a standard.

The cable is likely fine, but what may be happening is that the housing if the cable is too thick to fit in a recessed socket. It may not be in all the way, even if it looks connected.

I had this happen with some keyboards with detachable cables, had to either find a cable that fit or file down the plastic on the usb cable connector to make it fit.

What's the brand and model of joystick anyways? Is this for connecting the stick to the computer? or the stick to the throttle/rudder unit? Aside from what @M1K3Z0R suggest that the shape of the plug is preventing full seating, only other reason I can think of that regular mini usb cables are not working is perhaps it's proprietary wiring within the cable.

Also mention its for PS3?

So you're looking for a Mini-USB to USB cable? Avoid the term 'charging' cable as it disconnects the pins needed for data.
