Minimum time with a cell phone provider (phone number porting)

Hi guys!

I plan to switch providers and port my number. But I plan to only stay 1 day with the new provider and then switch back. :D Is it possible? Do you have any suggestion for a cell phone provider where I could stay for a day, for $10 or less?

Thanks!

I think Virgin prepaid allows you to port without topping up. You only pay the sim card fee. Sim cards are $1 on eBay and you can request the seller to send you the sim number online after paying, you don't have to wait for shipping.

With Koodo...cancel as soon as you walk out the door.

Sound good! Thanks for the tip! Just want to confirm there's no "activation fee"?

I thought Koodo had a $30 activation fee?

Public Mobile has the prepaid plan for $10 too. Just don't enable Auto-Pay. You might need to pay for the SIM though
