I know, Bell, Rogers, Telus = all 5G
Fido, Koodo, Lucky, Chatr would be 4G

I was referring to your comment that you cannot take advantage of 5G in iPhone?
Actually I’m in the same boat as you are.
I’m with Fido and planning to change my plan and get a phone that I can resell maybe.
No Loblaws in Montreal :(

Sorry my bad English, actually I don’t want sign at the Mobil shop, but the EPP discount only works there. I like Costco or Walmart even BB ‘a gift cards. The pc points are easy to get, hard to spent.

How is bell plan , my Koodo plan is better than bell’s. wife just put Koodo card inside her iPhone 14 pro max 512gb, she yelled only get 1 signal. I said you chose kodoo, I trust bell’s signal, I don’t know it’s koodo or iPhone problem?

The signal should be the same between the Koodo and Bell, they share the towers (through Telus). I would suspect a phone problem.
To better investigate, get an app from the store that shows the signal strength in dB and take it from there to diagnose the problem.

Yes, but you will be effectively cancelling your contacts, to go on a new plan.
so on your next bill, you'll have to fully pay off your remaining tab AND tab bonus as well.

The plans are usually $55 and $60 respectively but was told that you get $15 off for 15 months and $5 off for 24 months. No contract and they're waiving the $50 activation fee. You also get $100 to use in-store. Not sure when the promotion ends but it seems like a pretty good deal.
Yokokiki wrote: Same I got the $35/20GB from Koodo in Parkway mall ($55 - $20 credit for 15 months).

The odd thing is that I don't see the credit mentioned anywhere in my Koodo agreement so I'm not sure if I got lied to or not.. first bill comes out in 2 days so I'll know by then I guess..
What are the details of the Black Friday $35/20GB plan from Koodo?

Type of data speed?, province or canada calling?, what kind of # voicemail/call display?, canada or international texting? etc.. etc..

You can apply the bonus PC Optimum points to the down payment of the phone, just choose a lower tab with higher upfront payment. Can't do that with BB/WM, not sure about Costco.

I could go with bell $65 25gb (5G) unlimited data , also I can get 30% off , with Google 6A for $6/mon , and 250k pts. Totally after discount $51.5/mon.
That’s exactly $20/mon difference with Koodo and bell.

After debate I choose koodo, I don't know I got right decision or not.

BTW I got iPhone 14 pro max 512gb for $1960 +tax -$500 from Costco Oct 6. This Koodo plan is for wife too, one of the reasons I hesitate is iPhone can’t take advantage of 5G.

Agent told me $50 activation fee can be waived.

I got email it just say First Bill Estimates $45 for 15gb
What the f. I went to the mobileshop and they told me if you want a phone the best they can do is $50/month with Fido or Koodo.

15 months? I'm guessing they're giving you 15 months so you pass the next Black Friday and Boxing Day sales 2023

Contact Fido directly. Other existing Fido customers have reported being able to get the $35/20GB BYOD plan over chat/phone.

This makes a alot of sense. I was wondering why it was such a random length. Now I know it's not random. Ty.

Should look at if you need the data and permenant 40$ vs 15 months. Also 35 would be BYOD vs the 40 maybe tab eligible.
