Rep at RCSS Brampton(steels location), ON only honours $50 for trade-in, just FYI if anyone is going there.

so lets say the tab cost $28/mth (Device), 300,000+50,000 pts=$350 and that $350 can be put toward the $28/mth, is that how it works?

Trying to figure out this as well. If it's better to just buy the phone, and get one of the cheaper plans like the $35 12gb data ones.

Bell and rogers had same plan. $40 for 5GB data. We went with Bell because 3 of lines were from Toronto.
We dont need much data so went with this plan.

They had $45 for 10GB and 20GB for $50

exactly. It can be done in multiples of 60k points so you can use 300k(or 360k if rep allows and you have spare points) points to bring down tab

I considered this as well before getting the phone. Here is the breakdown over 2 years:
No Phone
[(35x12)+(40x12)]x1.13=$1017

With iPhone
[(45x15)+(9*55)+(18x24)]x1.13-250-50=$1510

So the phone costs $493 but you are financing it over 2 years and you can get 300k upfront. You also get 3gb more.
On BST, I see people selling as low as $675 so still a good deal IMO.

I think Fido page was not showing the correct offerings yesterday. I was able to add 12 mini 128 GB plus airpods for $20 per month with a $41.25 plan (4 GB). There is also a $50 bill credit.

I can't see the same plan today, however I've kept the page open along with the above plan in cart. Obviously the $250 gift card works out better financially, but keeping that page open as a backup.

Are the phone deals with optimum points available on an existing plan. We have a 20GB for $60 which seems like a good deal for a single line and want to get an iPhone 12 or 13. No balance owing on the phone so could port to any carrier but no one seems to be offering a comparable plan.
