270,000 gives you $270 in PC cash. Small tab $240 plus tax $268.80 in BC. $1.20 in profit for getting a phone plus you can spend the $270 on whatever immediately and pay the $268.80 over 2 years. Sounds like s great deal to me. Oops forgot the $35 connection fee....
Minimum $45 plan to qualified for small tab.

Koodo $30 plan, PM $38 5GB plan, PM $8 plan to replace Speakout,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 lines $117/6GB, $0 FPL home phone

I have the PM $35 plan already so this would be an upgrade. I would most likely just sell the ip6 for $200-$250 as I have an s9 from black Friday deals.

said person who never used an iphone (since it thinks there were iphone 7/8/9/x/x2 deriving conclusion this is 5 year device).

for anyone interested: i have iphone 6s since it came out. it did not noticeably slow down each year as other iphones used to.
hw might be a bit behind (just a fact), but user experience as a consequence of that older hardware is great....probably similar to any other newer iphone.
Might be a result of lack of innovation on the Apple side.

So it's confirmed new activations only?
Yes. No points for HUP. But it is still $0 + small tab without points. It will be cheaper to HUP online without the $35 connection fee vs TMS.

Depending on how long you are with Koodo, Koodo will give you $50 - $150 credit to help you get into a new phone if you ask.

not to be rude but this phone is garbage, its like 5 years old, u can get a 200$ or less moto from amazon thats better than this crap
Not to be rude but not everyone that wants an inexpensive Apple product will comprise with a crappy $200 Moto Android from Amazon. And not only that, the 6S was released August 2015 -- that's not even 4 years, let alone 5 like you claim.

Not only that, but you're not out any money buying this phone -- as opposed to $200 for the Moto.

Rumor has it the 6s won't support ios13... But just rumors. Should get a definite answer in the next month or so
I think this is highly unlikely. They could drop the 5S, but not the 6 or 6S. They still sell the Apple TV which is based on the iPhone 6 chipset, so is the HomePod speaker. They'll keep it fully up-to-date for another year at least.

Edit: They could also drop the 6 because it has only 1 GB of RAM. Definitely not the 6S (which has 2 GB of RAM).

Depends on your needs.

I get along fine with an iPhone SE 128GB bought fall of 2017 from Koodo for 150$. I flipped my 5S for $150. I also got 300$ in credits (3 referrals and a 150 HUP credit) during this boxing week after clearing my medium balance in 15 months (225$).

I actually ordered a refurbed iPhone 8 during boxing week to flip it on the used market, but since they where backordered and the market was saturated, I cancelled the order.

I debated a while before sticking with the SE. But there wasn't enough difference in specs with the 6S or the 8 other than the screen size for me. I actually switched my mother from a landline to a 6S this winter for next to nothing and she couldn't be happier.

ahh glad to see i am not the only late nighter here...

i'm rusty on my credit terminology, but a hard credit hit is part of life right? when one takes out a mortage, they get a credit hit too. so long as you dont have too many credit hits within a short time span it should all be good right? - i am only mid 20s so not too familiar w credit and what not, except that i always pay my credit card on time

just did a credit check - excellent result

Only if you haven't had recent (i.e. past couple years) dealings with Koodo, otherwise they use a 'cached' result.

Even if there is a hard hit, unless you need a loan or mortgage the next few months, and your credit isn't in the dumps, that won't cost you anything anyways.
