You sure you don’t want iPhone XS Max on medium tax and $300 and a Bahamas trip?
I would do this deal in a sec

Rumor has it the 6s won't support ios13... But just rumors. Should get a definite answer in the next month or so
Yeah, I would definitely take that rumor with a grain of salt (like a lot of rumors). Macrumors updated their last article about that rumour.

"Update: The Verifier has updated the original article to list the lack of iOS 13 support for the iPhone SE and iPhone 6s as "questionable" rather than concrete."

Not saying there's zero chance it won't happen, but it seems like it's more unlikely to happen than to actually happen.

Only if you haven't had recent (i.e. past couple years) dealings with Koodo, otherwise they use a 'cached' result.

Even if there is a hard hit, unless you need a loan or mortgage the next few months, and your credit isn't in the dumps, that won't cost you anything anyways.
Correct. Not sure why everyone is worrying about this. Every credit checks = minus 20-50 pts.

After a month or 2, it will automatically add 20-50 pts

That was probably the best deal they ever had -- though it was CUBA, not Bahamas.

Not sure if it's as high as 50 -- but it does have an affect for at least 12 months.

Yes. U need to take a hard credit hit tho
Who cares. You come out with an even better credit rating. It only hurts if you are not worthy of getting a $240 loan from Koodo.

Grabbed a 6S at Kanata. $275 in PC points. Apparently a new thing, you can get Quebec pricing there - so we took a $40 for 3Gb plan, which is actually just fine (currently on PM $40/5Gb).

Picked up a 6S with 275,000 points + 50,000 points trade-in for a 8 year old phone. Thanked OP.

I open an account with them in Oct 2018, and closed it 3 months later.

Will they have my details "Cached?"

I wonder if you can pay off the phone tab on day one, and switch to the BYOP $30 data only 1GB plan? I have no use for another voice plan, but if I refer my other Koodo account, that knocks $20 off that $30 plan, making for a palatable $10 1GB plan for 5 months. My goal is to a make sure the Mobile shop reps get paid, because I do repeat business with them.

Koodo self-serve online system does not let you to pay off your tab within 90 day after activation.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $37 5GB, 2x $13 250MB, $7 50min/50text, 2x $8 50min/50text,
2x Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone

This is no longer the case. After cancelling you can pay your final bill through self serve.
