But today they upped points for new activations on Freedom, that made me think if they could have increased HUP from $75 to something more?

They reduced hup literally last Tuesday it was $300 that could be used to pay down the mytab. I dropped the ball. Here’s hoping for that same deal boxing week

Call them. IIRC you have to press 2 and then 5 to reach the cancellation department.

what really.. existing customer for freedom?

i got only $75 points for HUP on existing freedom with iphone 13 on Saturday..

and i was specifically told that freedom does not give offers for existing customers anytime..
only new customers of freedom get high points of 250-300K from them.
so they told a lie?

Confirmed HUP is $75 worth of points as I just did an upgrade on my $30/30gb care plan this morning. Was going to wait for BD to jump on a iPhone 13/14 deal as I wasn't interested in running around the city and spending hours in line in hopes of finding a phone. So happened to be in the RCSS Brimley location in Scarborough and decided to pop in and see if there were any lines at TMS - turns out 2 clerks there and only 1 customer finishing up.

Walked out 20 minutes later with a midnight black iPhone 13 128gb. Here's my monthly cost with the phone:
$30 care plan with (new) $15 FNF discount = $15
MyTab = $9 (option to do financing at $20.71/month but ends up being the same overall cost with buyout at end of 2 years)
Monthly charge pre-tax = $24
Less PCO points = $75

And yes, the $45 connection fee was charged and I didn't feel like it was worth having a debate over it. Total cost over 2 years with all fees and buyouts is less than $35 a month (pre-tax). Not a terrible deal in my opinion given I didn't have to do anything more than spend 20 minutes in store.

$35 for 30GB on Koodo at TMS ($60 minus $25x24 months) with a device upgrade. Apparently, the points offer ends today.

Just back from the mobile shop @ RCSS, Whitby, 200 Taunton Rd W, Whitby, ON L1R 3H8

Only a few people there, took only an hour in total.

Switched from Fido $20 12GB plan m-2-m to Koodo $45 50GB plan for 24 months:
- iPhone 11 $0 (currently out of stock, but ordered and can be picked up in a few days)
- $50 activation fee (will be credited back in a few months)

Bonus points = 300$ + $50 for an old phone trade-in = $350 points in total

The actual total cost of the phone (Koodo switched from Fido):
($45 - $20) * 24 * 1.13 (tax) - $350 (points) = $328

This is not as good as Costco, from which the actual total cost of the phone (Fido 24-month term $40 25 GB switched from Fido month to month):
($40 - $20) * 24 * 1.13 (tax) - $300 GC = $242

So $86 more (~4$/month) for Koodo, but with doubled data (don't really need it), and hopefully better reception and reliability :-)

The sales guy Matthew is super nice, he said the corporate still have a lot iPhone 11.

Also he received a call in the middle of the transaction confirmed - today is the LAST DAY of BF sale!

Thanks OP and good luck guys!!! :-)

I asked about ip 13 price and bonus, but did not really check if in stock.

Give them a call, it is not busy there and they answer phone calls.

Existing customer. They had a $25 credit for 24 months which applied, bringing the $60 plan down to $35 monthly.

Even if you port in, it would probably be an identical plan (e.g. Mobile Klinink had the $60-$25 plan, on which one could then apply for HUP).
