Suzuki and Tatar for Patches is one of those rare ones where it worked for both teams but long term, this will be better for us. Ahh, the Rivet trade... the trade that keeps on giving.

As for that idiot Bergevin, as much as I slam him all the time outside RFD, his last 2 years at least show some semblance of trying to put a vision of some sort together. That said, we've been unofficially rebuilding because of the mess he made of the team during the middle third of his tenure.

No idea who this dude is, although I do realize that Price needs to play less games.

I guess it was either Domi or Danault. I would have kept Danault, too, as he is more rounded, but the problem is that he is a UFA after next season.

Anderson apparently was in high demand so the trade cost was high

Anderson is what we needed though so hopefully it works out.

With the deal they give him today, this or MB didn't want to lose Domi and a 3rd round pick in the UFA.

Habs signed UFA Tyler Toffoli to a 4 year, $17M contract.

That's actually for less $ per eyar than his last contract.

More importantly, GMMB has spent all his cap space.

Team looks improved on paper....I wonder if there's still a chance at a Kovalchuk reunion?

MTL definitely needs a sniper, whether Kovalchuk or someone else.
