Montreal Family Doctor

Hi. Can somebody please recommend me a family doctor in Montreal. I live in Toronto, but my mother lives in Montreal. My mother sees a doctor once a year, but he recommended that she gets a family doctor.

I went onto the Quebec family doctor waiting list back in October, but no response so far.

Some people has said that I should ask around to find a family doctor that is available.

If anybody can help me out, I will greatly appreciate it.

Good luck. We don't have family doctors. On wait lists for years.

Better off trying to get your mother a family doctor in Toronto and commuting than waiting for one in QC. Its gotten bad to the point I wouldn't be surprised if people started contacting vets.
If you can afford it I'd recommend getting a membership at a private clinic. It be better than waiting years for a doctor.

Same boat are Mr_Raider as well. Am past hoping we'll ever get one.

What is a private clinic in Canada? I thought private medical care is banned on federal level. One BC (I think) doctor wanted to change that but failed, if I remember right from the news.

Montreal has dozens of private and semi-private clinics w/ quick access to doctors/specialists.
Level of care depends on how much your willing to spend.

Google Cardio Genix, Rockland MD...etc
