Not a silly question, perfectly valid. Costco's site doesn't say anything but did link to DoorDash help page which states gift cards do not expire. Hope that helps

Quebec provincial laws forbid any gift card with an expiration date so if this is being sold online by Costco we are all good.

The gift card of $85 won't expire - but since the $15 is gifted... That amount ($15) can have an expiration

However if you're only given 1 card of $100... Then what I just wrote is of no importance.
