I doubt its actually quantity limit. They go oos so fast it said 9 left for esso in the first minute or two yet it was OOS but not updated. It seems to give that error even if it means not available / OOS.

yup, i saw there were 7 walmart $200+$50, tried to check out with Apple Pay , it said it's not available, which is pretty weird

It is actually a limit of one per person per type of card per 7 days.
I got my 100$ ones on Sept., 2nd in the morning and the 200$ at night. Now I was able to get new 100$ (after 7 days), but not the 200$ yet... need to wait until tonight.

I havent been fast enough to even test that. It was giving me that error when I hadn't purchased a card yet at all. Good to know how the limit works though so I wont waste time on trying for the same again before that time period.

I just got the 100$ Esso one and was able to add it no problem in Speedpass+.
I've seen that they also added a "($) Check Balance" on the top right of the Esso GC page, that leads to the official Esso GC balance check. Nice.

I agree. I think it actually hurts the business model because it turns people off when they sincerely try to get the deal and they keep seeing OOS. After awhile they just give up.
