So if you issued a refund for an item you bought and got instore credit back for the full amount. The retailer also said you can keep the item. Would you not consider the item as free?
i guess there is 2 sides when looking at it

There's no side of looking at it that it is free lol. It is not free if you paid something for it. This is not the same as getting an instore credit back because you do not get the $100 back that you paid to moola. You get an additional $100 gift card. Therefore you paid $100 to get $200 worth of value... ie. 50% off. Or 100% bonus gift card.

There is two sides like you said either 50% off or 100% bonus.

Sorry don’t mean to offend but you need to revisit grade school math :)

1) You get 20%/25% bonus for spending $100/$200
2) You get 16.67%/20% off the total value of $120/$250
This is exactly correct!
PM $13/30 days, 250MB with unlimited incoming/30d
Zoomer $36/mo, 5GB 800 minutes
Carrytel cable internet, 75M/10M unltd, $40/30d

Ha ha looks like this thread shifted from economics to mathematics... Back to school... In all seriousness there is no point in arguing.

Which card?

Exactly why I only buy what I can use in a few days.

cb2. I have two orders 125+25 and 200+50. The 200 one is actually 0 and the bonus 25 one is $17.5.

I bought it only few days ago. They may already be used when sent to me
