That's what happens when you have a huge country, with one side suffering (Alberta) needing low rates, and other side booming and not needing the low rates. Maybe they will impose GTA-only rates?

LOL, what buyers? Lowering rates is not due to rot in RE, it is due to overall economy.... And this is not a good sign, lowering rates when we suppose have a booming economy...

sure, far better to get out there and see what's going on at the open-house as opposed to arm-chair experts. When you see buyers pop up parking their cars, MLS listings with hand in your building... you know where the buyers are.
