Moto G Network Compatibility Discussion

I'm a little confused to whether the Moto G will have the AWS bands on it. It seems like T-Mobile may be getting a version, which would definitely indicate have AWS HSPA+ bands (as I don't think that they have LTE-only phones).

There seems to be many conflicting reports...

GSM Arena says nope: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_g-5831.php
Then there's disappointing news: http://support.t-mobile.com/thread/57405
This says otherwise: http://www.talkandroid.com/184531-t-mob ... cc-filing/

Think WIND/Mobilicity will grab it?

Will you buy one if you can find it in T-Mobile stores? I might, just for a backup phone and to play around with.

That sounds like a waste of $200 if you can only use it on WIND and it's going to be a backup that you'll rarely use.

Well, it would work on the big 3 without LTE

Is the Moto G from Telus Wind compatible? I can't find reports saying it is. Android Central says the moto g should be pentaband but I don't see any specs confirming that.
Nothing to see here...keep looking.

The Telus version is not WIND compatible. It doesn't list 1700 in the stats, hence why I linked the UK website

According to Wind the phone has to be compatible on both 1700 and 2100 not one or the other. I understand US version only has 1700, where does this leave MOTO G as a candidate for Wind unless someone has made it to work?
