These blades are very good quality too.
The last pair we received free for getting the oil changed at Mr. Lube, is still on the car 3 years later, and is now due to be changed.
3 years on a set of blades used year round is pretty good, and you can’t beat the price!

Aren't synthetic oil changes around $90 at Mr. Lube and more than 5 litres is extra.

I hope those Michelin wiper blades are better than the similar Michelins I bought at Home Depot (price varies $10 - $15 at HD).

They work OK to remove the rainwater but they chatter or vibrate and make a lot of noise when moving on the glass. I cleaned them several times even though they're new, but no difference. Honda Accord.

We have ours on a Dodge Caliber, and have never had any noise issues, no vibration, or chatter either.
I'm actually shocked they've lasted for 3 years.
Exceeded my expectations for a free set of blades.
I don't have a problem denying all the upsells.
I firmly tell them I check and change my own filters etc..
They have to try to upsell as part of their job.
Yes it's a tad annoying, but I suck it up because I know they're just doing what they're required to do.

Been to Mr.Lube a few times. I tell them it's my sons car and I'll pass the ( upsell) information on to him. They have no choice but to believe me.

Got these wipers before but never put them on, as my Bosch ones are still going strong ( 2yrs). Due an oil change though, so may go get some more.

Last time went there, was upsold $300, and forgot to give me free wipers ( Kitchener Fisher Hallman).

Synthetic is crazy expensive at those places. Better off just doing it yourself and buying good blades

+1. If I don't feel like drawing under the car it's only $17-$20 for the labour to have them change the oil if you bring your own supplies too.

I went with them a few times with an old car. After rejecting their upsells, i always got an expression of sadness then anger as if the person wouldn't get to eat that night.

Fine way to get people motivated to service your car. Tried another location with the same result. One day i learned that one franchise owner owned all the locations in my area. I'm sure it was probably part of his training.

It makes me wonder if they just refiltered my oil. But there are worse places to go. Id rather pay $10-20 more from the car dealership now. Saying 'no' to their upsells is less likely to produce retaliation. Hit Costco during their wiper sales and install yourself.

Don't know why people have such a hard time rejecting their upsellimg.
Other than their scare tactics, it's a great place to hit up a 20 min oil change.
I drop my car off, go to the supermarket, do some shopping, and voila!

There's always some doubt. The oil from the dealership ruined my crankshaft sensor (I'm convinced, free oil change). And I had some doubt about the quality of it. Now I just go to my mechanic, 30$ for a filter and oil from the bottle.

You live and you learn.
