Been shopping around for a 1440P Ultrawide monitor that I can work and game with and doesn't break the bank. There's not a whole lot of information on this monitor, but the reviews on the product pages and reddit have so far been fairly positive so I decided to pull the trigger.

At this price point, people will probably point to the Gigabyte G34WQC as it's probably the best spec vs price around, but that model has such a lack of stock that's it's very difficult to get one. The older MAG341CQ is also on sale for $499.99, but the newer MAG342CQRV has a faster response time, an additional HDMI port, audio jack, and a better adjustable stand that makes it worth the extra $50 in my opinion.

Nice find. I would go with the older model for 500 since the extra features are not important to you. Regardless really good price for both

Hey BIG thanks to OP! for redirecting my towards MSI Optix MAG342CQRV (2020 newer model)

Yes, i also agree with $50 upgrade for the all features that it offers

I personally would have never gone over the buyers remorse, if I had intentionally bought the 2 year old MAG341CQ model and save misally $50 bucks

I ended up getting it from Canada Computers and finally was able to bring it home and set it up.

So far, i love every bit of it and i cant wait to try out my games with my MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio

Thank you again Sir!
