Reviews suggest that it's thinner but surprisingly warm for its weight. Good multi-use jacket if you layer underneath?

Very wide boxy fit. Fits large.

Wasn’t for me. The large was too big and the medium was too small.

For those Santa belly’s maybe. Merry Christmas all!

Camel*3 suggests the original price was $20 more ($119.98), not $219.99… The Canadian Tire group back at it again with jacking up the original price to the moon to inflate the discount.

Nonetheless, thx for sharing OP

Also don't forget to check your Triangle offers...
Mine are 80-5 @Atmosphere and 100-5 @SportChek...

I saw a review saying it's good for -25, but not -35. How can something so thin be effective at such low temperatures?

I own another jacket of the same weight of 100g Microtemp XF II. I feel a bit chilly at -20C but fine at -15C.

Would it be usable at -25 or -30 with a hoodie or something else underneath? It's been in the -20s here for a week and even down to -30...and I really need to get a winter jacket, but I'm having trouble figuring out what will be suitable for those kinds of temperatures. I don't like being cold.

I've seen people just wear long sleeves at -20C. But I survived -20C wearing a champion reverse weave hoodie and uniqlo extra warm heattech. So if it's below -20C, I'd recommend another jacket as I don't like to wear a lot.

I'm not sure if I have this exact Columbia jacket, because I bought it last year. However, it is surprisingly warm. I paired this jacket with a vest and was able to keep wearing it until last week (am in Ottawa). At -20, I would go for a parka unless you are being quite active.

I've had this jacket for a few years now I and I'd definitely recommend it. Not heavy, and does the job in cold ass temperatures here in the GTA (Pickering, specifically). Can't speak for anyone outside of Ontario, though. Today is a good example, actually...
