Not the best earbuds out there (no ANC), but they are decent with 8 plus hours of playtime (32 hours total with charging case). Retail price is $30, now $25 for a limited time.

I happened to use my sister’s

No this particular model by JLab. But this shit disconnects a lot, never seen this bad Bluetooth disconnection in my entire life.

Not sure if it was defective or they are all like that

Maybe the older model had that issue or yours happened to be defective. I bought a pair 4 days ago and used them quite a bit, no disconnects so far.

Can't speak specifically to this model, but from my experience once you go below $50 all the wireless earbuds are essentially the same - Dudios, Anker, Soundcore, Monster, JLab, Skullcandy, etc.
None of them automatically pair with any consistency and they all seem to have annoying touch controls, but other than that they're perfectly serviceable if your expectations are realistic.

My dog just chewed through my last pair of Dudios Tics, going to go grab these from Staples, thanks!

LOL "no this particular model" - but makes comment about this model

I don't know about your guys' Ferraris, but my Venza is a POS!

I somewhat agree, after buying my fair share of inexpensive wireless earbuds. TWS was just rushed to market and cheap was the name of the game.

No shill here (despite MPOW being obliterated from Amazon), but I daily MPOW X3 ANC and they're pretty decent (SQ/ANC etc) for ~$40-50CAD at the time. The only drawback was the right bud is what the device paired with, not like airpods can pair with either individually. That's just at the $50 mark where they start getting halfway decent.

How about in the $50-$100 range for best music quality + microphone quality + battery life + stays in the ear? I'm used to headphones with the wings that go over the ears but it's not mandatory if the earbuds can stay in the ear well enough + IPX7 / IPX5 for exercise would be nice to have. For me, 8+ hour battery life is definitely a must though, since that's what I'm used to with this trusty ole set: Image
