I haven't played NHL 19 in a year. Should I sell 19 and get 21? Will be using PS5

Selling sports games is not a good return but if its just going to be collecting dust and has no "display shelf" value for you, then go ahead and get 5-10 bucks for it . Or hopefully for you, more than that but yeah

Amazon back in-stock, updated post

well it's $29 sale for the game, but you may end up spending more on HuT mode with microtransactions

Go Leafs!

"great canadian game" lol, OP you funny guy...

It's the same as NHL 20, but with more bugs. Only reason I got is because is was getting harder to find people online in '20...

FIFA 21 is also at this same price at Amazon and Walmart. Digital edition is $24.99 on Playstation store.

Couldn't agree more!!! I have played this series since 94 and don't think I've missed a year. Until this year. Nope. Not even if it's free. Such a downgrade compared to 2020, they nerfed the game and just updated the rosters. They really should just charge for a roster update each year and update the game as they go. I tried the alloted hours via EA access and won't touch this one.

I have 20 on ea play and I realize that it's pretty much the same game over and over and over apart from maybe changing the announcers and dropping nbc branding, but what makes 21 'poop' compared to last year? Legit question

I feel the gameplay is less realistic feeling. It felt like it was too speedy and skating felt not as fluid. It felt more arcade and less simulation. This was when it was first released so perhaps it was corrected with game updates but I'm done throwing $80 out the window for what equates mostly to a roster update.

You can fix all that with the sliders under settings

Only for vs CPU. I only play online versus and all sliders are not changeable. This is working in my favour; all the die hards have left to NHL 21 so I'm finding it easier than ever to beat people online.

PS4 out of stock, just set to notify you when they get stock again.

Xbox One price just dropped now on Amazon, its now $29 also. Added link.

NHL 94 rewind was only for pre-orders, and to buy it bundled now is $84.99 which is ridiculous... maybe they will give it out free in the future anyways.

as others have said, if you want to play online then this is the one to get, with the most active community.

yes, it's made in Canada at EA Vancouver and hockey is Canada's national sport. load up Training camp you'll see what i mean

as far as the game itself, it's not a big budget title like fifa or madden, they dont have the bigger budgets to make it truly amazing. it's like an indie sports title lol but yea a lot of work goes into it, i have a friend who worked on it. also the pandemic has not been forgiving on game development, but they're dropping the prices quicker to reflect that
