The LG C1 OLED lineup is still on sale with Black Friday pricing at most retailers in Canada. The sale ends Dec. 9th.

The 48" price varies between $1499 and $1699 depending on the retailer.

If you're worried about burn-in, please consider getting BestBuy's geeksquad warranty which covers it.

Not sure which retailer to go with? Costco has the best return policy, BestBuy will cover burn-in with their warranty, and Visions will significantly undercut their competitors on pricing.

Looking for stock in a Costco Warehouse? Give them a call and use the item number:

Nice find. Called LondonDrugs and they only offer LG’s 1 year warranty, an additional $280 if you want their 2year warranty.

If Visions price matches the C1 55”, it’d be a sweet deal which includes their 2 year warranty.

Hoping to see a price drop for the A80J 55” as well.

If I wasn’t scared of OLED burn in, I would be very tempted to get the 48”

If you're thinking of buying from London Drugs, I would buy now while they still have stock. LD offers 30 day price protection so even if the black friday price is better, you can just go in and get a price match.

Visited in-store to see what offer I could get for a 65" LG C1 OLED. The salesman was honest and as I hoped knew it would be silly to sell the TV at full price when they have a 60 day price protection and it'll be going on sale during Black Friday.

I was told the BF price would be $2278, which I believe is an ATL. They didn't have stock of the 65" and are expecting a delivery in the next week so I paid a deposit to be guaranteed one from the next delivery and that he'd call me when they came in.

I don't have a receipt to prove it as I only paid a deposit.

Awesome. Expecting other retailers to be in the ballpark as well.

Bought the C1 55" from Costco, do you think they'll be lowering their prices too?

That almost covers the cost of a Starbucks drink!

Does the price beat also apply to price protection? Bought one from them 1.5 months ago. Already got them to adjust once to $2,370 from $2500. Would be nice to get them to refund the difference to $2,255

As long as you bought it recently you should be able to price match within 30 days. It's highly probable it will go down to $1699 either on BF or before it.

If it goes on sale at Costco, buy the Excellence Plus plan with it for $99.
You get a total of five years warranty with coverage for burn-in.

Are you sure about this? Pretty sure it doesn't cover burn in.

Sorry man, but that’s not burn-in. It would say “image retention” or “burn in”. That says “pixel burnout” meaning dead pixels on the screen itself.
