My Zoomer contract expired, are there any better deals?

I currently pay $36 for 4GB of data and unlimited calls and texting, and Zoomer called to inform me I can sign up on a 2 year contract for $41 for 5GB, or $45 for 6GB.

Are there any other carriers that offer more LTE data for cheaper? That don't require YMMV retention or winback situations?

EDIT: No freedom please

No, get on the plan with a phone, sell it and reduce your monthly cost even further. Closest I can think is Public Mobile/Lucky with $40/5GB but Public can be reduced to $38 with $2 auto-pay credit. However, Public is throttled ~3Mbps LTE vs full LTE speed on Zoomer.
Koodo $40 10GB!

It's a good plan on a good network. Remember that it's a migration plan so you'll have to stay with Lucky for 30-35 days before you'll be eligible for the migration offer to Virgin.

Virgin is a pain though, they bill without warning for extra data.
