huh, that makes sense then why I read articles for like Toronto how they wrote off millions of $ in parking tickets costs.
So to collect, what can cities do? Just send it to collections? I know private parking (like imPark) can't send to collections and they just bluff. But what can cities do?
I guess if you happen to receive a parking ticket IN the city you currently live, they can count it against your property tax I guess, but if you get it from another municipality?
