National ballet of canada
adult $25
kids $15

This is a 45min performance from sleeping beauty by national ballet of canada. Normally a full length show is $250 per adult for grand ring/orchestra seats. This is perfect for ppl with young kids for them to see ballet and orchestra in action!!!

PS I called national ballet of canada and they confirmed that ANYONE can purchase this tickets. They said to me that even ppl with young kids who can‘t normally sit throggh 2.5h long performance are encourage to attend this one. They want more generally public to enjoy the ARTS. Not sure why I was downvoted. Orchestra seats/Grand ring seats during a regular performance is over $250 but of course the whole show is 2.5h not just 45min.

This shouldn’t be posted here -
Relaxed Performances are designed to welcome the Disability Community into artistic spaces.

This performance has been structured to ensure that children and adults who are Neurodiverse, members of the d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing and Disability Communities feel safe, celebrated and cared for.

This promo was actually sent to everyone who has attended any of their shows in the past so it is for general public. I did call today to confirm that it is available to ANYONE even just anyone with young children and they told me YES. They allowed me to buy tickets!!!

Thank you for sharing and clarifying!

this is just for Act III. The regular price of $150-200 per adult is for the entire show (Act I to III) for 2.5 hours.

Damn, I didn't realize ballet was so expensive. I remember going to watch nutcracker or the orchestra when I was in elementary school in Toronto. I don't think we paid more than like $10 for the school trip. For sure we got a school discount, and it was like 30 years ago, but damn. Now I know why more people don't go enjoy the arts.

If that‘s how you feel…you can wait til 2 days before the performance to purchase tickets! I am sure there will be plenty left for everyone. Many musicians in the orchestra are telling their students to attend this one because most kids can’t sit through 2.5h full performance. They did also advertise this performance as…. “ This performance is 45 minutes long and is also suitable for families with children not able to sit through a full performance.”

Yea, ill consider that!

Ill watch the full performance too later but the chill atmosphere would be preferable. And 45 min is solid.

Thank you
