National mandatory stay-at-home-order

Interested to know how many RFD'ers would comply with this order if it was mandatory.

If you were to comply, how long would be acceptable?

If you were not to comply, what would be your reasoning?

No - because do the authoritarians actually enjoy starving poor people to death indoors?

Reasonable social distancing (both outdoors and indoors) and basic hygiene practices is one thing, reasonable enough and easy to comply.

Mandatory stay-at-home is forced indoor jailing, which is an entirely different beast from above recommended best-practices, and is actually similar to torturous concentration camps as described in history books.

Ideally, yes they would. That said, it is impossible to do this - the definition of "essential" is too broad and subjective. Everything can arguably be essential at the end of the day.

What they need to do is begin enforcing social distancing and self-isolation orders that have been put in place consistently. They have the ability to ticket and/or arrest individuals in breach of these orders, but many municipalities and law enforcement agencies are clearly hesitant to. My community released a news story about a couple that is blatantly refusing to ignore self-isolation rules overtly since returning from overseas. Apparently the only action that was taken is to knock on their door to provide them with a handout about self-isolation, and no further action is expected. The couple is apparently going out of their way to flaunt they are disobeying the order, and pretty much laughed at the bylaw officers who stopped by.

Yes.

Along with temperature checks and testing stations at every major bus and subway station.

If you want to enter a grocery store, neighborhood, or shopping center, show your ID card. This allows for easy contact tracing.
