Look at Public Mobile's $15/month plan. It's $13 with autopay, unlimited incoming calls, 100 minutes outgoing.

Be sure to get a referral from an exciting PM customer so each of you get a one-time $10 credit.

I just looked into this for a neighbour, whose elderly relative was looking for something for emergencies.

$15/month for 100 minutes and unlimited text is pretty much all that exists, and you can get it from pretty much every major and their flankers - Bell, Telus, Virgin, Koodo, Fido, Public Mobile, Lucky Mobile, Chatr.

- Virgin, Koodo, Fido, Public, and Lucky offer 250 MB of data per month if you autopay.
- Public gives $2/month credit if you autopay.
- You can get Lucky and Virgin SIMs at Dollarama, typically for $4, saving a few $ over the competition.

PC Mobile offers a $15/month plan, with 100 MB of data and 20k PC points after 2 months of service if you autopay.

Done with fongo?

Thanks to both of you. Yeah, I was done with Fongo a long time ago. Its reliability went downhill so much that I would miss nearly every incoming call. My phone wouldn’t ring and I’d then get an app notification of a missed call.

Anything new out there? I haven’t found anything else in the last two months so will probably just get on Fido’s $15/month plan. I already have Fido 4GB data plan to pair it with. I’m guessing the chances of a Black Friday deal on this will be nil?
