Need advice on "10% Free yearly redemption" in Manulife Segregated funds

Yes I was stupid and got roped in a year ago with the Manulife Segregated funds for my RRSP. Moved 3 of my RRSP accounts to manulife. I should have done some more research.
Moving on...

Now on the fund facts it states the following and my advisor confirmed.
"You can sell up to 10% (20% for RRIF tax types) of your units each year without paying a sales charge"

I know I can move it to a no load version of the same fund but can I move the 10% out of segregated to a regular manulife mutual fund. Their MER are at least much reasonable.
My goal is to accumulate enough in no load and move it to a robo advisor in one shot. Or can anyone give me better advice if they are in the same boat with the 10% yearly redemption and what their strategy is.

Thanks in Advance
