Need advice on buying a car

Hi Friends

I have emailed several dealerships regarding prices for a KIA FORTE5 and FORTE EX. How do i know if i am getting a good offer from them? Will dealerships lower their prices from what they originally quote you? Every offer I got was about the same per KIAs main website.

Thank you.

The figures on the Forte 5 EX are as follows:

2020 FORTE 5.EX...$167 BI-WEEKLY........KIA PAYS FIRST 6 MONTHS PAYMENTS

2020 FORTE 5 EX...$152 BI-WEEKLY...PAYMENTS START IN I MONTH

2020 FORTE 5 EX...$167 BI-WEEKLY...CHEQUE TO YOU FOR $2150.

THE AMOUNT TO FINANCE IS $28326 OR $25896, DEPENDING WHICH SCENARIO THAT YOU CHOOSE.

Use unhaggle to get the invoice price; if you're close (within 2%) I'd say you're getting a good deal.

I’m down to $171 bi weekly All in over a 6 year term to finance. Anyone’s opinions on the deal and or vehicle?

Seems to be within about 5.7 percent of invoice.

I personally wouldn't pay much over "invoice" if anything in this market unless you are stuck on that particular car due to rarity or lack of Kia competition in the area.

Use your carcostcanada freebies and unhaggle to compare and go from there with negotiation.

Taxes included in the financed amount right?

Looks like you're getting ~$2000 off the MSRP which is decent for a compact car.

I would never get a KIA over a Toyota but the deal you are getting is not bad.

Good advice, I used unhaggle to find the dealer price, called a few dealers in my area and the sales managers were all willing to do the dealer price. Signed for a new car this morning :)

Thanks!

Kia? Are other dealerships closed right now? If so, I understand.

Dealership floors are closed, sales people work from home.
Some dealership allows test drive .

Dealerships will reopen on Tuesday .

As for the price.. OP.. can you give us the sale price rather than payment please?

I would go for below invoice price if possible... Tell them you will think about it and shop around. Maybe give them 2% below invoice price as your serious offer price. Tell them you are willing to give them abit (or all depending on your security) of your credit card info as a gesture of seriousness when they speak to their manager about your price. (You can call your credit card company to expect a fixed amount of deposit just to make sure you do not get ripped off or defrauded)

Of course.. if they accept your offer... You should buy it and pay deposit right away.

Ended up getting a better deal about an hour away. Saved $8 on my biweekly payment getting it down to $163. I got the car at invoice price. Colour I wanted and the car I wanted to I am happy with that.
