Need Advice on Patching Drywall

Hello. I am in need for some help. I made holes in the wrong space with my 1/2inch drill bit and I want to patch it up. Should I just fill it in with conventional weight mud followed by lightweight mud on the top coat or just use Dap DryDex and fill it in with just DryDex spackle?

Whatever you got. 1/2inch is small. If I were to do things again, I'd probably buy a bag of dry compound for patching [Sheetrock 45 or 90 per Jeff]. This way it'll last forever - just mix as needed.

That's a tiny hole. Just put tape over it then spackle

Lol. That’s about a small a hole as possible.

Grab some compound. Apply. Let it harden. Repeat 3 times. Sand. Good as new.

NOTHING ELSE.

Take the round end of a screwdriver and place it on the hole and hit the other end with a hammer to make a little indent and then use drywall filler.
