Need Help: Lilac Tree Planting Question

Hi all

This is my first time plant a tree, I bought a Korean Dwarf Lilac from Costco and planted it before May. Tree is boomed in first month then it look burnt this month.
Please see attached pictures.

I did water it everyday but still no idea why it look burnt. Is the problem caused by too much water or not enough water.

Hope someone can help!

Thanks.

Hmmm I don't know if they're burnt - looks they've bloomed and are now dying off - they don't bloom the whole summer. You can try plucking them off to encourage new growth but I think they're done blooming for the season - assuming right soil conditions, etc. Also you may not need to water so often once it's established. You may need to prune back the branches with no leaves though.

It's done for the year and probably the next. I have one in the backyard, blooms for a few weeks every few years in May.

I have the exact same one.. like everyone else is saying, it's done blooming, you'll have to wait until next year.
