Need Help With New Build

Looking at getting the AMD Ryzen 9 5900 or 5950x, have a 3080ti card to go with that. I'm not sure what's a good reliable motherboard that would be great for those two parts. I was looking at the X570 series, after reading reviews on Amazon on almost every X570, no matter who made it. They seem to have reliability issues. Any advice on what motherboard I should get would be appreciated.

If you're going to go with a 5900X or 5950X CPU then you definitely want an X570 series chipset motherboard, as those are higher end enthusiast boards, with very good VRM's, heatsink, power distribution, etc, which is recommended for those high end CPU's.

Every board is going to have its pros and cons on reviews. I'm not sure what you mean by terms of "reliability" because every MB has it's share of problems. It's hit and miss, but the saying does go "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" so yea, there are quality, durability, longevity, and build differences between buying say a $200 X570 motherboard and a $400 X570.

Decide how much you want to spend and make a choice.

eg's low to high
ASUS PRIME X570-PRO, ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING, ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
GIGABYTE X570 AORUS PRO, GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ULTRA, GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER
ASRock X570 STEEL LEGEND, ASRock X570 EXTREME4, ASRock X570 TAICHI, ASRock X570 PHANTOM GAMING X

Myself, if I was going to spend $700+ or $1000+ on a 12C/24T or 16C/32T CPU then yea, I definitely wouldn't buy a $200 motherboard. I'd probably be spending upwards of $400 on a decent MB to go with that processor, and decent AIO cooling solution as well 280mm or 360mm.

I would definitely dial back on the motherboard if I was going with a 5800X or 5600X

The more speciality the hardware that you go for, the more problems it tends to have. Go for something that is mass produced and it'll be fine.
