Need some help to decide, Westinghouse vs Skyworth

Received a gift card from Canadian tire for a couple hundred bucks, found both a Westinghouse and a Skyworth at the local store for 399.99 (58). I have been reading all the black Friday posts here but there is so much its confusing. We are talking about a basement TV, just for Netflix and movies on USB and cable. I own a Samsung and have no expectations to match that but curious what the folks here think between the 2 brands as I am limited on options. TIA

Find a better use for your GC / FREE Money

Automotive Supplies - Sporting Equip - Lawn & Garden etc

ADD / TIP - Whatever it is
Be sure and use each GC in one go ... so you carry no balance
GCs are most vulnerable to theft when there is an unused balance on an activated card

That's like arguing the difference between Sorny, Magnetbox, and Panaphonics.

I’m more of a Sorny man myself. Face With Tears Of Joy

Seriously though; I think these are both lower-grade televisions. Skyworth does sell a model with android tv built in which is probably better than a generic smart tv. I can’t attest to the actual experience though. At least with Ctire you could always return if you don’t like it.
