Neo Financial Credit Card - Limited-time $100 sign-up bonus online

Deal Link:
Retailer:
Neo Financial
Sign-up can be done through the Deal Link.

Neo Financial has a kiosk at the Toronto Eaton Centre whereby they are promoting the credit card and $100 sign-up bonus. You'll also get a cute tote and free stickers. The rep said that they'll be there until December, but I don't recall until exactly when. [Update: Neo Financial still has a kiosk at the Toronto Eaton Centre but they are now promoting the credit card with $50 sign-up bonus.]

This a limited-time offer similar to the expired promotion that was previously posted at

I believe most of their grocery stores are at 1% but they said they were close to signing a deal with Metro.
My friend ended up getting it just for the fact that Second Cup gives a 10% reward (at least that is what I was told).
Any chance someone who has the card can list the places with a reward > 1%?

LCBO and Amazon are at 2% , The Bay 2%

Depending on the area you are in it will list the different places you can get discounts locally.

Its not a bad card at all and I use it at the LCBO and Amazon primarily.

Lots of Bars and Restaurants give 8% or so back after X amount of visits usually 3 visits. YMMV

The savings account also pays 1.3% interest and its relatively simple to deposit and withdraw money. A good place to park money temporarily which earns some interest rather than the majors.

You can use your cash back at any time as an account credit.

I have had no issues with this card and would recommend it.

Neo is a great card for restaurants. One I visited had 8% cash back on top of the regular 2% and it was a big bill so it really helped out. Its pretty good for gas as well.

Anyone else having issues with verification? Wouldn't accept the back of my ID. I emailed them to try and fix

Wouldn't getting the Hudson's Bay Neo card be better? It's a 20% discount on everything at The Bay including sale items for the first 24 hours. With Boxing Day coming up, good time to stack discounts.

Rakuten is also offering $25 cashback but not sure how that works.

It seems like this card is a mix of 0% cash back at some stores and more cash back at some partner stores. Overall guarantee is 1%…not the guarantee for each store.

Difficult to keep track of what has higher cash back but it is a good card if you can. (It is not categories but individual stores)

So if you make this your daily card for everything->> the %0 cashback stores will cause your average cash back amount to go down to something near or equal to 1%. 1% “overall” (not per store) is also guaranteed by neo if you end up using lower cash back stores one month for example.

A bit tricky. perhaps on purpose.
I almost cancelled my other 1% /%1.25 everything card. But then realized that you are better off using a separate daily card which has 1% or higher minimum for each store and use this card for special stores.
