The new one is called vertuo next, didn't notice so much the applet vibe til you mentioned but yeah, seems to be going that route

When I bought my machine, I had the choice to get the machine without Aeroccino for $99, and with Aeroccino for $169 (so, $70 +tax for the Aeroccino). My GF thought it was too expensive, she had a frother on a stick after microwaving the milk. We had one Aeroccino at my job and we wasn't using it, so I offered $40 to buy it and they agreed.

Now my GF would spend $70+tx to get one, she thinks this is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. It warms your milk, you have two "modes" to froth the milk (more dense or less dense), and you can also make cold milk froth when you hold the button. It really does the job and works well and she recommends it!

Got the Vertuoplus Deluxe I managed to order. Just did the before first use cleaning. I can tell already it's better than the Vertuo I ordered a couple of weeks previously and returned. The one I returned only brewed luke-warm. This one is hot.
