Thanks for this, Thatdealguy, you're an all star on here. Have to ship maybe 6 or 7 big boxes later this month and savings end up being a total of around $100ish for me.

Closest location to a ChitChats or CrossBorderPickups was Mississauga, 1+ hour away. This looks competitive (a few dollars cheaper for a couple packages I had shipped recently) and would save me a couple hours of driving and gas. Will try this for next time. Thanks OP!

So entering stuff manually..
Shipment 1:
12x9x2 inches at 0.5lbs from Toronto to Boston, quote is $10.88 CAD
Chit Chats is $5.80 CAD

Shipment 2:
8x8x2 inches, 0.25lbs from Toronto to GTA. Shipping to Canada costs more, which is infuriating!
Netparcel is UPS Standard quoted as 2 days at $11.83
Chit Chats is $10.28 (no Asendia International, thought that one might be available/cheaper..)
Canada Post through Paypal is $10.97
eShipper is UPS Standard quoted as 1 day at $13.31

Obviously these two packages are very different from yours..
Interesting, seems like ChitChats is still the way to go for smaller/lighter packages. Their US bound "thick envelope" option is always cheapest, USPS seems to treat it like heavier mail while Canada Post charges the same rates as a box/package. For heavier packages NetParcel would have saved me a bunch, enough to make or break some sales.

also been chitchat for awhile now, has anyone used this yet?

I tried doing a quote and it seems like it needs the receivers email/phone number? Any idea why

Why not just make up fake ones, for the purpose of obtaining a quote?

The person you replied to specifically compared them and found eShipper better. On the other hand, you provide zero counterpoint for your argument. Who is insane in this scenario?

UPS rates are better with Paypal/Netparcel. Other courier rates are better with standalone netParcel account, strange.

I did some quotes,

for shipping outside the local area ( 100 + km) NetParcel is giving me excellent UPS rates, about 4-5 dollars cheaper than Eshipper. Within local areas i'm getting cheaper rates of $.50-$2 via E-shipper utilising Canada post expedited.

I haven't used shipper in 3 years. I've been using freightcom exclusively, cheaper and better.

The last 2 months, I have noticed the same issue that turned me off've E-shipper, post-transaction 'adjustment' invoices. I'm really getting annoyed.

Freightcome offers free pick-ups as well.

I predominantly do CAN-CAN waybills. Anyone able to comment on if this is any cheaper?
