New activation, no service... asked for port to occur in 30 days
I got a new phone on postpaid, the sim from bell is not active, just says "sim not provisioned".
My plan was to use my old prepaid sim for 30 days to use up the data and then use the bell sim going forward. So I asked for my number to be ported over after 30 days.
If I don't have service now, is it likely that the port will activate the sim when the port occurs?
I tried to do a chat with Bell to see if they could look up my account number, but doesn't seem that they have my account information. They asked if I was post paid and if I had a term or not.
