wow...the amount of new luxury condos being built in Toronto from 2020-2023 is insane....

I bet this one will also be around $2000/sqft.

Yup, love the way they mark up the concrete, drywall, some plumbing & electrical wires and cabinets and undivided interest in the common areas to that level and all you get is basically an empty shell with the requirement to pay whatever the condo fees increase to every year. Then you have neighbours on all 4 sides (unless you are in a corner unit) that can cause you noise & grief.

I'd rent a condo. I'd never buy one to live in.

1 Bloor West was already selling around 2 years ago. It was $1,500+ PSF back then and I thought it was a steal at that price. People thought i was crazy to think so.

There will probably be new releases as we get further along the project though.

There are many, many nurses on the Sunshine List making well over $100K. They do not make peanuts.

the hotel part will kill the financing end for buyers as banks dont mortgage these hotel / condo buildings ....

it will be like 1 king west and trump hotel all over again, realtors telling their clients its easy to get a mortgage, then years later
the clients cant get any bank financing....

Well the condo is marketed towards rich ppl anyways at that prices...

Regarding condo/hotel, if it is separate entity, even if in the same building complex, it is regarded as such. See hotel le gemains and residences of maple leaf square
