New Brunskwick retirement home ration toilet paper?

NB retirement home ration toilet paper citing increase cost.
the cost is $2500 a month for residences. this is unbelievable.
Where can old people live nowadays? Do we have to live in caves now?

Two points come to mind:

1- Although $ 2,500 a month sounds like a lot of money (and surely it is to NB Residents) it is NOTHING compared to the costs of Senior Residents elsewhere in the country, where the going rate can be $ 4,000 ... $ 6,000 or more per month.

2- This TP story is a piece of crap if you ask me. Not only is it a concept of nickle & diming the Residents... But seriously 2 Rolls of TP per week per person ? That's in reality is a LOT of TP.

We are 2 here at home, and we don't go thru 2 Rolls each in a week (4 Rolls Total), and our house also has more than 1 Bathroom.

So this seems "almost like" a fake story to me.

Guess we'd be TP Entrepreneurs if we were living in this residence... Selling our unused ration to those most in need

Lol... Mind ya, if TPTB were handing out single ply sandpaper TP... I'd be giving it as pass anyhow and buying my own.

It doesn't really seem like a ration because they can request more, it seems more like they are given the two per week and then more can be requested when running low or out.
