Well, we are Dell Financial Services, the leasing arm of Dell, and we don't only lease Dell systems. I was finally able to get approval to allow us to sell the non-Dell stuff we get back on the retail store :) We recently had some Lenovo laptops up as well.

+1 I'd pick up a M700 tiny if the price were attractive, no problem slapping in my own SSD and OS. There's just too many older gen units out there that are still excellent general use performers at 1/2 to 1/4th the price of these.

I infer that they already have SSDs. The 256M size is not likely a HDD.

After discount, the price isn't off by a factor of four. I'd consider buying them at $200. That's what I paid several years ago for my M93p Tinys (i5-4570T, HDD, Windows license). Others might have different price-points (higher or lower).

DFS does add some value, like a warranty. Not a fly-by-night outfit.

Yes, units listed with 128Gb or 256Gb HD will already be SSD.

If we get more of them through, I will certainly look into it.

We were sold out of monitors for a while, just got a small batch through ... again, not really enough to run a promotion.

This keeps coming up. Old timers seem to know this. But even we have niggling doubts.

Would it be hard to make the SSD/HDD distinction explicit in your listings? Perhaps even make it a selectable critereon (on the left of the pages)?

PS: I really find the "Shop By:" column useful for exploring what's available. Good job.

PPS: it is unfortunate that this thread's first post no longer has a link to your site. And that the thread's subject uses your site's old domain name. Can you get RFD to change the "More offers from Dell" link to a "More offers from DellRefurbished" link?

Nothing planned right now, as we are so low. I may be able to get approval for something on desktops again, but that's about it.

No, we are not able to put the OS on the non-Dell units during refurb.

I didn't know we would be getting those in, so had no plans, but it looks like more 9020 are coming through, and that may be the next item I can feature. It's our quarter end, so unlikely much will happen before next week, even in terms of meetings and such.
