New ecommerce business

Hi all,

Started an ecom business recently since I saw a good amt of local demand. Site is set up along with search and social marketing campaign. It's still a little too early to say the website is generating a profit as the month of may was, imo, an outlier month due to mother's day.

Currently, I have not set up any business entity what so ever as I want to see traction before I set up the backend.

Is this a smart move?

Pros and cons of getting it incorporated, business bank accounts, etc now or after I can confirm it's profitable?

Any input welcome Slightly Smiling Face

Hey OP, I'm in the same boat as you. Started an eCommerce business in recently. Business license in Feb, eCommerce set up in April, currently at about 8K in sales so far YTD. I'm not incorporated. I do have a separate bank account, stripe and paypal account.
