^ Rolled tightly Doritos, so they're tube-like. I had some of the new ones today and they're just too hot for me. The mildest are the only ones I can handle. LOL

If I cook for vegans/vegetarians I add them sliced to salads. They give a bacon-like note, they've always been a hit.lecale wrote: ↑ I love Black Diamond Smokehouse almonds but they are so damn pricey. Lindt Vegan chocolate
Kool Aid Gummies
Prana Sumsuma

I like the NaturSource Tamari Almonds that you can find at Costco at $12ish for 950g (last year they hit $10 a couple of times). Have you tried those?
$15.99 at Amazon (from Amazon):

Very interesting. Zehrs has these in the produce department along with a number of other varieties & they do not move well because of the high unit price so I have seen the brand pink-stickered for 50% off a few times (but never bought). I am going to have a closer look at the clearance cart next time.renoldman wrote: ↑ Damn, nearly $30

Can confirm its hazelnut but I can't find a picture for the life of me so until I see it in store I can only go on the USA variety which was indeed milk chocolate. That being said these particular bars always seem to fall into the candy bar category so I wouldn't be surprised if it was white chocolate or something similar as a basethe brother wrote: ↑ Good things come in 3's --- let me know if you spot the 3rd one. A very reliable source says it's "Hazelnut" not sure if it's regular milk chocolate or white chocolate based?

New sightings at Zehrs.
Buncha Smarties (chocolate pucks with embedded Smarties) & Buncha Crunchy (kibble) 180g 2/$8.00 (There are probably more version in this series, I bet.)
Free2b Sunflower Butter Mini Cups in Chocolate & Dark Chocolate, $8.99 (too bad about the price because I could see this being a great flavour combo. In Germany I had a sunflower seed Ritter Sport bar & it was a hit with me. Would like to see these at 1/2 the price.)

Walmart: Burnbrae Egg Bites in new 2-pk sous vide packaging & a new flavour (Bacon & Swiss Cheese) that sounds promising, $3.47
I have tried the bigger bags meant for the microwave & I think you get 8 egg bites per bag but the flavours they have (Pizza & some sort of Mexican beef) are really strong & I did not appreciate that. I don't appreciate the price of the 2-pk because I was able to get the bags as low as $4.99 - $2 save.ca coupon + 2,000 PCO pts.

Walmart is now carrying a lot of products by Kosa (I can't remember what brand of glutinous rice flour I used to buy there but now it's Kosa.) Ingredient list on these ready-to-go curry sauces sound promising.
Red: Water, coconut milk, red curry paste (lemongrass, shallot, salt, red chilli, garlic, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, coriander seeds, cumin), bamboo shoots, chilli oil, soybean oil, sugar, salt, red chilli, kaffir lime leaves.
Green: Water, coconut milk, soybean oil, green curry paste (lemongrass, green chilli, shallot, salt, garlic, galangal, cumin, coriander seeds, tumeric powder), bambo shoots, sugar, salt, red chilli, sweet basil leaves, kaffir lime leaves
400g $3.29

I think bonterra has posted some of the Lindt Grandes line but here's a closer look. $4.98 at Walmart but they are 150g or 1.5X a regular tablet bar.
32% Almond White Chocolate (New!)
34% Hazelnut Dark Chocolate
31% Almond Sea Salt Dark Chocolate
34% Hazelnut Milk Chocolate
I would say these are direct competition to Ritter Sport Nut Series which has all the same flavours except the Almond White Chocolate (their White Chocolate 1 is Hazelnut) & they are 100g. I find Lindt a bit waxier than Ritter Sport though.
